Health system strengthening: Health for all revisited

The University of Oslo (UiO) and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health welcome you to the 12th Norwegian global health conference – to be held in Oslo, 10.-11. of april 2018.

The two days-program will consist of keynote speeches, sessions, postersessions and excellent opportunities for networking with fellow global health colleagues. We will post the program as soon as it is finalized.

This years overall theme will be «Health system strengthening: Health for all revisited», with four core topics:
– Global Digital Health
– One Health
– Neglected Tropical Diseases
– Global Health Financing

Registration deadline: March 1st, 2018

Our two very interesting keynote speakers:

Richard Horton
Editor-in-chief of The Lancet with a longstanding interest in global health. Honorary professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University College London, and the University of Oslo. He has co-chaired the independent Expert Review Group on Women’s and Children’s Health, reporting to the UN Secretary-General, and was member of the External Reference Group for WHO’s Research Strategy.

Göran Tomson
Senior Professor of International Health Systems Research at Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, and Visiting Professor at Shandong University, China. His extensive research and policy work focuses on universal health coverage. Recent appointments include chairing the WHO Scientific Advisory Committee’s Alliance for Health Policy Systems Research and the Board of the GLOBVAC programme of the Norwegian Research Council. In 2017 he co-founded SIGHT, the Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation.
